Flea Prevention

Fleas are not fun:

Did you know it takes up to 28 days to kill all fleas in the flea cycle? And adult fleas can live up to 20 days in cold weather (below 46°F). So that leaves us with the question: Prevention or Treatment? What's actually better when it comes to dealing with fleas and ticks?

We wanted to make fleas and ticks easy for everyone. So we decided to break it down to our top 5 reasons of why we believe it's better to prevent fleas and ticks from getting a hold on your pet than to try to Treat an infestation later.

Top 5 Reasons to Prevent Fleas & Ticks

#1 - We love our pets! As pet parents it is our job to take care of our pets; keep them safe, healthy and comfortable, to the best of our ability.

#2 - It is less expensive and easier to prevent fleas and ticks than it is to treat an existing infestation:  $300 year to prevent vs $1000 to treat (house, yard & pet).

#3 - Fleas & Ticks Suck! A healthy flea can bite up to 200 times a day and can cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis. Ticks stay on its host 24-72 hours so we need to kill them fast.

#4 - Health of our pets and family! Fleas carry diseases like Typhus, Plague and Cat Scratch Fever. Ticks carry lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, relapsing fever, ehrlichiosis, tularemia and tick paralysis.

#5 - BI Satisfaction Plus Guarantee! BI will refund your money after 3 months of continuous use of NexGard (all pets in household must be treated) if you are not satisfied. (Ask us for details)
