Pet First Aid

Would you know what to do if your pet had an emergency?

We recently gave a talk to pet owners about what to do if you have an emergency with your pet. Veterinarian, Dr. Jeff Covington, who was formerly an Emergency Room Veterinarian, gave a wonderful talk about how to avoid accidents when possible, and when they do happen, what you can do to help your pet! Since not everyone was able to attend, we have put together his notes from this talk and are making them available for everyone. Follow this link for our Pet First Aid Notes.

If you should have an emergency with your pet we always encourage you to call us. Although we are not an Emergency Hospital, and may not always be the best place to bring your pet for an emergency, we are always here to help direct and advise you as what to do next. We have also provided links for the Pet Emergency Clinic (AHENT) and Creekside Pet Care as well as the Pet Poison Helpline. We always suggest that you keep our phone number, along with your closest Pet Emergency Clinic close at hand.
