Debbie - Debbie joined our staff in 2006 as a part-time groomer. Even though
she only works one day per week she still enjoys the "family feeling" of working
at RAH. Of course being Candy's sister adds to that great family atmosphere.
Debbie, husband David and daughter Veronica love spending time with their
beloved dachshund Maxi. Debbie also enjoys camping, fishing and gardening.

Debbie - Debbie (aka Little Debbie) began working part time with RAH as a
"Professional Canine Stylist" (aka pet groomer) in 2007. Debbie has worked in
the past with both Candy and Debbie since 1987. She loves all the dogs and
treats each groom dog as her own "grand-dog". And just like a good
Grand-mom, she sings, talks to and loves each dog she touches.
At home she spends her time with husband Gary and sons Wesley and Travis.
They all love to go camping and enjoy bowling on their WI game. Debbie also
enjoys jigsaw puzzles and reading curled up with her special cats, Batman and
Robin.

Jon - Jon started working as a Kennel Tech for RAH in 2010. He came with no
experience but a love of animals. He enjoys spending time playing with all the
animals, especially playing fetch out back with the dogs.
Jon, wife Lacie and their 2 children, Romeo and Zayden, enjoy spending time
with their dog Burt, fish Hank and their bunny Horatio. Jon also enjoys soccer,
working on cars and playing video games.
Candy – Candy has been Roanoke Animal Hospital’s groomer since 1999.
And we all believe she’s the best groomer in town! She, husband Martin and
their twin daughters, Sam and Kensey share their home with a menagerie of
pets. Besides their 2 horses, they have 9 dogs, 2 cats, 2 fish, a parakeet and a
sweet flock of chickens (19 at last count). You don’t think she loves animals do
you?
In her free time, Candy loves being a soccer mom, a leader for her daughters
Girl Scout troop, camping and watching Lost on TV. Her favorite things at
Roanoke Animal Hospital are the people she works with and of course making
all those wonderful pets look beautiful!

Sarah- Sarah is RAH's Kennel Supervisor. She started in 2011 and had never
worked in an animal hospital before. But having worked in a day care in the past
and having 3 children of her own (Anthony, Ashton and Adam), as well as cute
little pug Sadie, she's a perfect fit for all the hard work and tender loving care
required to take care of all of our wonderful boarders.
Sarah and husband Jason love watching her boys play soccer, fishing, being
outdoors and hanging out with their friends and family. Sarah says she loves the
people she works with because they are easy going and make working a blast!
She also loves all the animals because they each have their own personalities.
Brandon - Brandon, one of our part time kennel techs, started at RAH in 2011.
He came to us from another clinic with ton's of experience and a great work
ethic. Brandon loves working with animals and thinks the RAH family is
awesome!
Brandon has 2 dogs of his own, Labrador Tara (who he's had since he was 8)
and poodle, Mia. He likes spending his free time fishing, playing ice hockey,
working on his mustang and going to school to earn his Associates degree in
Fire Science.
Christal - She's back! As of 2011, Christal has come back to RAH as a
part-time Kennel Tech. Christal really loves animals and enjoys letting our
borders out to play as often as possible. She loves being a part of the friendly
and caring staff at RAH.
Christal, husband Nick, son's Brennan, Liam and Owen love all their furry family
at home as well. They have dogs Baby, Millenium, Sooner, Lost, Caibhann and
Jasmine. They also have cats Desi and Spot, a Sun Conure named Sugar as
well as guinea pig Katie. In her free time Christal enjoys reading, watching
movies, cruising the Internet, gaming and spending time with family, friends and
her many pets.
